So my life is officially over...i'm 25...i no longer sit comfortably in the 18-24 bracket for cool things like the Complex creative workshops for Nike Air Day... i'm now a 25 Plus.
No but seriously, i am actually embracing 25, i feel it's a nicer number than 24. Will i grow up? Probably not, not yet atleast! More than ever i'm preaching the 'life is too short' moto that errrbody drones on about but srisly it is....
Because of this YOLO attitude i shipped 6 of my closest beautiful friends down to London for the weekend to celebrate my birthday. I can honestly, hand on heart say it is the best night i have ever ever had, i wish it never ended.
We were staying at Chelsea short stay, a beautiful all white apartment just off Fulham road through my affiliate booking.com, you can book here.
Naturally i was wearing Missguided for my birthday, paired with lamoda denim heels. My fave artist and friend Marcus Method personalised by Missguided denim jacket with 'birthday boujee' typical Blondejunk style you knowwww.
After too much pre-drinking we pilled into an Uber off to our first destination Jackson & Rye in Soho one of my favourite places for a chilled out dinner. I ordered my usual steak & eggs, drank more processco, did an awkward speech and loved every moment of it.
From there we headed to the destination of the evening - The London Cocktail Club Oxford Circus. How best to describe LCC? It's a place where dreams come true basically. You are free to enjoy yourself however you see fit, want to dance on the tables? Go ahead. Want to chill in the corner sipping on your gin and watch the world go by? No problem, literally whoever you are....this is the place for you. It is the funnest place in London. They LOVE a party.
Thankyou so much to @londoncocktailclub for hosting my birthday. As you can see from this video is was a crazy night. Literally my favourite place to go in London if you haven't ever been....you need to go! Especially for the Zombies! The atmosphere is world class ❤ #blogger #londoncocktailclub #london #barscene #mustgo
Enter down a darkened staircase and get hit with a classic LCC vibe, inspired by Mexico’s second home, Down-town LA! Expect references to “ESE’s” and “Bloods & Crips”, a playful twist on gang life, with “gang sign” art work, “pimped out” sexy bandana clad graffiti girls, and even lumberjack shirt furnishings, (no doubt buttoned to the top!).
You’ll see graffiti-covered walls depicting gun-toting clown figures and mean cityscapes. The focus of the action remains at the bar where there’s hot contest for a stool seat. Expect to be “sippin” on “Gin and Juice”.
They looked after us so well as we sang along to probably the best music set i've heard in years. My personal favourite cocktail - Bathtub Lagoon even comes with a rubber duck but if you're feeling hardcore try your hand at the Zombie...not for the weak hearted guys.
