My Aunt & Cousin helped me photograph it as the wind here was so fierce as soon as i tried to photo for you!! Love them!
I didn't want to produce you guys a smoothie, most people know how to create a smoothie and they are pretty over done atm (soz), so i thought i would give you a healthy BUBBLE TEA!
If you haven't heard of bubble tea it derives from Asia. 'Taiwanese tea-based drink invented in Taichung in the 1980s. Most bubble tea recipes contain a tea base mixed/shaken with fruit or milk, to which chewy tapioca balls or fruit jellies are often added. Ice-blended versions are usually mixed with fruit or syrup, resulting in a slushy consistency. There are many varieties of the drink with a wide range of ingredients. The two most popular varieties are bubble milk tea with tapioca and bubble milk green tea with tapioca'
However i did not want to add jellie into this drink as it kind of defeats the points, so i used baby grapes instead to create the 'bubbles'. See my recipe below:
2 scoops of Eat Clean Matcha Tea, add boiling water & whisk. Let it cool.
Add your coconut milk (about a shot), then add your baby grapes, we froze ours but i suppose in the uk there is no need! Add 1 tspoon of honey, then stir and add ice. To garnish you can use any fruit you wish and it's amazing to dip into the drink! We used watermelon, banana and pineapple.
The 'bubbles' are great to eat with a spoon in between sips!
So that's it, you now have yourself a blonde junk bubble tea. Courtesy of the Cadmans, with love xx
